Description

2018 -- our “4th Year of Writing and Scholarly Publishing” at TWU!

On Friday, March 22 from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm we will celebrate this initiative with another big writing retreat. The Center for Faculty Excellence will host a writer’s workshop entitled

"Efficiency with Style: Revising Your Manuscript at the Macro & Micro Levels"

in collaboration with the Textbook and Academic Authors Association (TAA). This workshop will be conducted by Erin McTigue, President of The Positive Academic -- Writing and Productivity Coach for Academics. Erin is widely published, has won teaching and mentoring awards, and continually aims to bring a lightness of spirit to the heaviness of academia.

The event will include Breakfast and a Luncheon. Food for thought and for the body. What more could you ask for?! This is an intensive and interactive writing retreat and it does not lend itself to be videocast.

Please register with this form so we can plan ahead and make sure we have enough seats, food and drink available. First come, first serve!

Houston Colleagues: if interested in this opportunity, please contact Dr. Waltje -- we have limited funding available to bring you to Denton for the day.
